Last weekend the Kew Gardens Improvement Association sponsored the replacing and replanting of the flower barrels on Lefferts blvd's "Ponte Vecchio." Many of the barrels were replaced with new ones and received new plants and flowers and the salvageable ones were replanted with new flowers and greenery. Many people from the community came out to help and now this area is really looking great.
