As a side note, if you're a fan of Ramsay, as I am, you should get a kick out of this below video if you have not already seen it. (Offensive but bleeped language)

Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares in Forest Hills!
Apparently the tv show Kitchen Nightmares hosted by Gordon Ramsay is filming this week at a restaurant in Forest Hills that I have always driven past but have never tried, and the fact that the show is there makes me think I'm lucky I haven't! PJ's Steakhouse is the name and it is at 73-11 Yellowstone Blvd in Forest Hills. The signs all over the street say they will be filming from May 2 - 8. We're hoping to be able to go to the opening night dinner there after Ramsay revamps the place.

wow. I def want to go to the opening night!
ReplyDeleteI will definately try it. One of the only restaurants in Forest Hills I haven't tried.
ReplyDeleteAnybody know who owns it now?
Wonder if the network knows the "entire" story about that place and its former owners.
I've only had bad experiences with PJ Steakhouse. Went there to have what was listed a one of Queens' best burgers. They had changed the menu and the burger was off the menu. They said they would make me one. It wasn't worth it. My wife had a chicken dish which she liked. We thought we would give it another try for their steaks. Made a reservation for a Saturday night for seven people for a Birthday dinner. Arrived to find the placed closed. Just a note on the door that the were closed. No phone call to me as a courtesy. The place is truly a Kitchen Nightmare.
ReplyDeletewe were there.. what a mess. whats the deal with the former owners??? new owners seem nice
ReplyDeletefood gross and ramsey a real hottie
to be aired in sept.
5/15/09 Friday night 6pm...went for dinner..no menu on the door, no lights ,no cameras, no action...completly shut...must be belly up! Ramsey was too late :).
ReplyDelete5/15/09...dead as Ramsey's marriage. They last for 2 years as an over-priced steakhouse...Gordo comes in and does the switch-a-roo...and one week later they are belly up. The Owners must be laughing their Irish Butts off in County Mayo as they skim the deposit and gift card money. By the way if you want to contribute to their retirement fund you can purchase a gift card at: http://pjssteakhouse.com/giftcards.aspx
ReplyDeleteThe restaurant will be opening soon!
ReplyDeleteGordon RAMSAY's marriage is fine. Gordon is a highly rated chef and businessman ! These restaurants are as bad as they come.
ReplyDeleteWhen I bought my house through costa rica homes for sale
ReplyDeleteI expected to have a big stove in the kitchen with a huge space, now I am really happy because I can cook every kind of recipe in my huge stove. I really love it.
